Commisions:

2008: Light Night – The BIG Decision: Together with the artists Dawn Sharkey and Rebecca Strain, I was commissioned to make an interactive live art piece to represent LVAF (Leeds Visual Art Forum) at Light Night. We developed an idea which increased circulation of people by introducing a game of chance, to inform and help the public to discover and engage in the various events taking place. In LVAF's email later that year they quoted the project as ' their crazy fortune telling rampage through the City. A very appropriate physical manifestation of the work of LVAF'. We kazooed our way through the streets raising a ruckus and creating a commotion.

Performances:

Speech Acts, Sibiu International Theatre Festival 2008 & ACT Festival Bilbao 2007: A devised piece of contemporary theatre referencing speech and rhetoric.

Freya & The Glass Orchestra, Holy Trinity Church, Leeds, Ladyfest 2007: An experimental, improvised performance with 3 other artists; using glasses, vases, pyrex lids and other glass objects to create an ambient sound work.

Events:

START, Trash Bar, Leeds 2007-2008: I managed this monthly event in collaboration with a musician and a performer. START was a platform for local and national artists of all kinds (visual artists, musicians, poets, comedians, performers) to showcase their work, gain valuable feedback and network with other creative practitioners. START still exists as a facebook group.
